Sauvage Eau de Toilette

Sauvage opens with a sharp squeeze of Calabrian bergamot and a crack of pepper, then settles into a dry heart of Sichuan pepper, lavender, geranium and elemi. François Demachy built it around ambroxan, the mineral, skin-like material that gives the drydown its unmistakable clean, slightly salty trail.

It is one of the most recognisable men's fragrances of the last decade for good reason: it reads fresh in the heat, it projects without effort, and two or three sprays carry through a working day. In Dhaka's humidity, use fewer sprays than you think you need.
